AAHFN

The American Association of Heart Failure Nurses (AAHFN) is a specialty organization dedicated to advancing nursing education, clinical practice and research, to improve heart failure patient outcomes. Heart failure is the association’s sole interest and passion, and AAHFN is dedicated to setting the standards for heart failure nursing care.  AAHFN unites nurses and other health professionals interested in heart failure care to serve as the unified voice for the association provide a forum for sharing ideas, translating research findings into practice and setting priorities for the future.


ADDA

The Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA) is a non-profit organization which provides information, resources and networking opportunities to adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD), as well as the professionals who work with them.  Established in 1989, the association generates hope, awareness, empowerment and connections worldwide in the field of AD/HD.  Bringing together scientific perspectives and the human experience, the information and resources provided to individuals and families affected by AD/HD and professionals in the field focuses on diagnoses, treatments, strategies and techniques for helping adults with AD/HD lead better lives.

The Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) is a professional organization that specializes in certifying and advancing the profession of medical dosimetry (the accurate measurement of doses). Medical dosimetrists are members of radiation oncology teams who have knowledge of the overall characteristics and clinical relevance of radiation oncology treatment machines and equipment, are cognizant of procedures commonly used in brachytherapy, and have the education and expertise necessary to generate radiation dose distributions and dose calculations in collaboration with the medical physicist and radiation oncologist. MDCB is dedicated to promoting the provision of safe, competent medical care for all patients requiring medical dosimetry services.
