Service Medical Client Base Expands
MT. LAUREL, NJ – Association Headquarters (AH) is pleased to announce
the OsteoArthritis Research Society International (OARSI) as its first
full service client partner acquisition of 2003.
OARSI is an international association whose mission is to promote and
encourage fundamental and applied research and disseminate the results
of that research through appropriate actions in order to permit a better
knowledge of osteoarthritis and its treatment.
OARSI was formed due to the increase in both clinical and basic research
in osteoarthritis. Its members include physicians, researchers and other
health industry personnel from around the world.
Ann Marie Smith serves as executive director for OARSI and her responsibilities
include budgeting, financial management, membership recruitment and retention,
conventions and trade shows, publicity and new program development. Ann
Marie works in concert with the board and acts as the liaison for members
and the public. “The relationship with OARSI successfully expands
the AH transplant medical division to now include non-transplant organizations,” said
Smith.
