and Public Relations

NJ – Association Headquarters,
Inc. (AH) is pleased to announce
both William Pawlucy and Jennifer
Szwalek have earned master’s
degrees with honors.
Pawlucy earned a master’s in public administration, with a concentration
in non-profit organization management from Seton Hall and Szwalek earned
a master’s in public relations, with a concentration in association
management from Rowan University.
Pawlucy is senior vice president of marketing and business and trade
associations and Szwalek is director of public relations and the communications
division.
Pawlucy oversees the services provided to AH's business and trade associations,
leads the company’s marketing efforts and acts as management advisor
to AH business and trade client partners. He currently serves as president
of the Delaware Valley Society of Association Executives (DVSAE).
He also holds a bachelor’s degree in international business and
finance from Temple University and has earned the designation of Certified
Association Executive (CAE) from the American Society of Association
Executives. Bill is also a recent graduate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce
University of Delaware Institute for Organizational Management, which
is aimed specifically at the education of non-profit executives.
Szwalek
oversees the public relations,
communications and marketing
needs of several key AH clients
including Juvenile Products Manufacturers
Association (JPMA), American
Society of Transplantation (AST),
American Society for Histocompatibility
and Immunogenetics (ASHI), Kids
In Distressed Situations (KIDS),
Benefits Consulting Group (BCG)
and Flag Manufacturers Association
of America (FMAA) as well as
AH itself.
Her responsibilities include the distribution of press material, management
of media relations, crisis management, government relations and press
conferences (print, radio and television), newsletters, promotional and
collateral material and development of new business public relations
strategic plans.
She also holds a bachelor's degree in communications from the University
of Hartford, Connecticut. She serves as a mentor to undergraduate public
relations students at Rowan University and speaks on a variety of public
relations topic at New Jersey colleges and universities. She is a member
of the Public Relations Society of America.
