How to Hit the Jackpot – Before You Get to the Casino

While the job of “professional student” may not appeal to everyone, I frequently used to wish such a job existed. Get paid to learn, stay in school and avoid the “real world”? Sounds good to me!
Though not exactly the same thing, the Mid-Atlantic Society of Association Executives (MASAE) recently shared that Association Headquarters will be offering one $250 scholarship to attend its Annual Conference, to be held December 8-9 at the Tropicana Casino and Resort in Atlantic City.
“We’re pleased to offer this scholarship, which supports AH’s commitment to continuing education,” said Association Headquarters President and COO Robert Waller, CAE. “Taking advantage of career advancement opportunities is strongly encouraged at AH, and I hope this one-time gift fosters similar interests within the local association management community.”
The non-transferable scholarship is applicable to registration fees or a one-night stay (on Wednesday, December 8) at the Tropicana Casino and Resort. Defraying costs for professional development? While many are still pinching pennies, supporting continuing education is AH’s way of investing in the future of association management excellence.
