Association Headquarters Bids Farewell to Senior Staff Member,
Welcomes New Director

Staffing Changes at AH illustrate the flexibility of the AMC model

MT. LAUREL, NJ—March 31, 2014 – Association Headquarters, Inc. (AH) announced today the departure of tenured staff member Pamela Ballinger, CMP. Ballinger has accepted the position of Senior Director of Meetings and Exhibits with the American Association of Cancer Research (AACR) and will begin her new position in April.

Taking her position will be AH staff member Shannon Fagan, CMP, who has been mentored by Ballinger since being hired in 2004. Fagan has been named as Director of Meetings and Exhibits for the World Transplant Congress (WTC) and the American Transplant Congress (ATC), both longstanding client-partners of AH.

“Pam has been with AH for over 14 years and has made many contributions to our success as well as the success of our client partners,” said Bob Waller, CAE, President and CEO of AH. “Anyone who knows Pam knows that she has a passion for the field and is looked upon by others for her guidance and expertise. The executive leaders of WTC and ATC are supportive of Pam’s decision and welcome Shannon as her successor.”

Association Headquarters, Inc. will continue to manage the World Transplant Congress and the American Transplant Congress events and is in the process of transitioning both projects to Fagan before Ballinger’s departure in April.

Association Headquarters Gives “Dresses” for Success

Employees of Association Headquarters donated women’s attire to aid K.I.D.S.

MT. LAUREL, N.J. – March 28, 2014 – Association Headquarters, Inc. (AH), a leading association management company, teamed up with ModaVive and client partner Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) holding a company-wide collection, asking employees to donate high-quality and gently used dresses, business suits or maternity wear. The garments will be sold on ModaVive’s e-commerce platform with more than half of the proceeds from the sales going to support Kids in Distressed Situations (K.I.D.S.)

“Giving back has been a core value for Association Headquarters for a very long time. It is a concept that is embraced by our staff, and is also a highly visible corporate priority,” said AH CEO Robert Waller, Jr., CAE. “We regularly participate in events for our clients and for other large-scale charity organizations.”

ModaVive is a platform that collects gently used, high-quality garments from the public and resells the items, donating a portion of its proceeds to various charities and organizations. JPMA, a national trade organization representing 95% of the prenatal to preschool industry, is a partner of ModaVive.

K.I.D.S. helps homeless and military families, victims of domestic abuse, and children with serious illnesses and runs Safe Sleep Centers where underprivileged families can go and be given free juvenile products and information on safe sleep practices.
